AKA The Dungeon Master. Creator of Bahumia and voice to all the heroes, villains, nobles, and thieves that inhabit it. Tolerator of goofs and distributer of consequences.

Brian Murphy is a comedy writer and performer known for Hot Date (now available on Netflix!), Adam Ruins Everything, and CollegeHumor. He co-wrote the book Hey U Up? and edits NADDPOD.

Hardwon Surefoot

Played By Jake Hurwitz

The Bastard of the Mountain, a human fighter raised by dwarves. Thick of calf and quad, 6 foot 6 of muscle and beard. The Great Axe of Irondeep, Pride of the Dwarfanage, The Oft Dead. Having dug further into the Irondeep Mountains than any man or dwarf before him, Hardwon believes his next great adventure lies above ground, and has set off to see the world.

Jake Hurwitz is the co-founder of HeadGum, co-creator of the "Jake and Amir" webseries, and only 6 inches shorter than Hardwon.

Beverly Toegold V

Played By Caldwell Tanner

A teenaged "City Halfling" from the Cloud-wreathed summit of Upper Galaderon. Beverly ispart of the Green Teens, agroup of junior paladins who strive to honor the Order of the Ancients, and also collect as many merit patches as possible. He hopes to one day become a full-fledged Green Knight like his father before him; but for now he'll settle with trying to keep his new scout masters from getting brutally murdered by all manner of man and monster.

Caldwell Tanner is an artist and writer currently working on Disney's Big City Greens. He has also written for TeenTitans Go!, is the co-founder of The Drawfee Channel and can be seen on his Dropout show, Cartoon Hell. Every day he is haunted by the reality that he will never be as good a boy as Beverly.

Bahumia art by LaserLazuli

Moonshine Cybin

Played By Emily Axford

Crick elf Druid and heir to the Crick Mee Maw. Her people were ostracized by the High Elves to the dank shores of the Crick, where they set up their stumps and threw a rager of a crawdaddy boil. Lover of fungus and ambassador of decay. Purveyor of fine hospitality and even finer vengeance. Known for her jambalaya, gumbo, wrasslin', and lawyerin'. Freckled, ferocious, and dangerously fertile.

Moonshine is accompanied by her loyal oppossum and scribe, Paw Paw Gump, who is known for his fine scramblin' and his excellent lawyerin'.

Dungeon Uncle

Played By Caldwell Tanner

AKA The Duncle! Creator of Trinyvale and voice to all the drunken halflings, mysterious monarchs and talking gorillas that inhabit it. Lover of goofs, receiver of whomps, and a devout follower of the “no such thing as too many crystals” school of DMing.

Jens Lyndelle

Played By Brian Murphy

Erotic sword dancer, accidental prince pricker and owner of a car that is totally real but it just in the shop all of the time. Jens seeks revenge for the brutal murder of his father during what other, lesser people would consider a "fair duel." Following his father's death, his mother remarried Ron, a human living in the Rana'for Valley, leading to the birth of his half-brother-stranger Nyack, who he now begrudgingly shares a studio apartment with alongside Onyx. Despite his frequent pleas, they still haven't paid any rent.

Nyack of the Rana'For

Played By Jake Hurwitz

Half Elf Ranger with a stomach of whatever is the opposite of steel. Mulleted and shirtless, Nyack lives to please his big baby brother, Jens, whether Jens appreciates it or not. Nyack was raised by a tribe of awakened gorillas and one dreams leading his people as the Silver Back of the Rana'for. The only thing that can stand in his way is random puddles of jam that he continually seems to be slipping in.

Onyx Lumiere

Played By Emily Axford

A Moon Asimar from the little moon, Pollox, Onyx was studying geology at state school when she happened upon a strange crystal shard that started whispering to her. Doing as anybody else would upon finding a clearly evil crystal shard, she attached it to a flail, left school, and began to heed its bidding, which may or may not have resulted in her exile from the moon. Since her exile, she began working for the Benefactor on Retrieval Team 22, and also discovered her knack for creating engaging social media content on her inexplicably popular Trinstragram account.

Oh, and her toy moonicorn Obsidian is there too, but the less sound he makes, the better.

Trinyvale art by Sonya Oliaji

Dungeon Docent

Played By Emily Axford

Architect of Bahumia's hippest beachside town, Salty Peaks, and guide to the best summer vacation ever. Creator of hippofins, Henry Cavill birds and a dedicated sidebar mechanic... that mostly gets swept aside as the Bon Freres try to unravel a more important mystery: did Carl and Infiniti close!?

Mavrus Bombora

Played By Zac Oyama

Aka Mavrus the Unschooled. A student at the school of hard knocks first and Gladeholm University a distant, distant second. From the Party Plane, Mavrus is a tiefling sorcerer with swept back horns and surfer vibe akin to Keanu Reeves (even if Mavrus seems super irritable and pissed). To put it simply, Mavrus is just trying to vibe in a world that is ultimately trying to harsh said vibes. When he's not hanging with his main squad the Bon Freres (an actually pretty sick name if you think about it), Mavrus has found a surprisingly lit group to hang with called the Band of Boobs. There is absolutely no way Mavrus has the emotional strength or vulnerability to even mention having new friends to the Bon Freres so instead he will lie about it forever.

Davenaxius "Hungry Dave" Gilderfang

Played By Caldwell Tanner

A dragonborn disc golfer who loves downing brews, slinging 'bees and backing up his boys. Dave would do anything for his friends and as a result can never say no to a dare, no matter how much bodily harm it might inflict. He earned the nickname "Hungry Dave" after ordering two cheeseburgers for dinner, a decision his friends still razz him about to this day.

Cormac "Mac" Darkstout

Played By Brian Murphy

A beer domain cleric who likes to sidebar with his friends to make sure everyone's cool, having a chill night and, most of all, that they're enjoying his blessed brews. Mac's father, Mumford, owns a chain of breweries called Mumford & Children, which he resents as a connoisseur of experimental microbrews. He never goes anywhere without his satchel-keg strapped to his side, and is always looking out for his boys. Above all else, Mac wants one thing: to find Mavrus' missing leather choker.

Oh, and Carl. CARL!?

Tread Nevers

Played By Jake Hurwitz

Tread Nevers is a pop punk acoustic emo bard with swoopy hair and horns that fall dramatically across his forehead. Tread cares deeply about his boys, and just wants to have an awesome summer. Armed with a Tom Delonge Custom Stratocaster (and a sword) Tread will stop at nothing to find his missing friend Carl.* *Tread is down to take a long rest though and may actually have a little energy if you wanna party?

Hot Boy Summer art by Nich Patzelt

Dungeon Master

Played By Brian Murphy

Creator of the world of Eldermourne, as well as all the creepy, gothic architecture and mischievous sprites that reside within it. Inevitable receiver of whomps, but hopeful to deal out an equal if not greater whomping measure this time around.

Fia Boginya

Played By Emily Axford

The witch on the edge of town. As a teenager, a travelling witch took her under her wing and began to train her... but eight years ago, that witch disappeared. Now, Fia lives in the missing witch's hut (an old abandoned railcar) trying to teach herself magics without her mentor. She is accompanied in her hut by a shelfful of magical spellbooks that don't respect her, mouthing off or biting her whenever she tries to use them. Her one companion is a nervous little spellbook named Bukvar, who just wants to be in a safe, cool, dry place. Fia spends her days tending to the injured forest-dwellers who live on the edge of town, but she is beginning to venture out to fight away the horrors that plague the monsters she cares for.

Henry Hogfish

Played By Jake Hurwitz

Henry Hogfish hasn't smiled in a year. Turned away from his ship, left by his wife, and forgotten by his son Henry has nothing going for him except for the fact that the salt and pepper appearing in his hair makes him look kind of distinguished. But distinguished he is certainly not. These days it seems Henry doesn't have any friends at all... not even his shadow...

Zirk Vervain

Played By Caldwell Tanner

A sleep-deprived, amateur alchemist who dreams of one day giving the gift of healing to all the people of Eldermourne. At least that’s what he would dream of, if he ever slept. Behind Zirk’s tinted spectacles lie the deep-ringed eyes of a twilight tinkerer who won’t stop till the job is done. While some apothecaries might be content to simply burn the midnight oil, Zirk spends his nights studying the oil, tasting it, and then reverse-engineering how to craft more.
